About The Wall Street Challenge
The Wall Street Tennis Challenge supports Ovarian Cancer Research Fund's efforts while spreading awareness about the early detection and screening procedures currently available to women.

The event was founded by Marjorie Pastel to honor her Mother, Bette Drymer Shapiro, who passed away in 1998 after a six-year battle with ovarian cancer. All of the proceeds raised from the event will benefit OCRF's scientific research program, including ovarian cancer research being conducted by Dr. Kris Woods, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology at Duke University.

The Wall Street Challenge event gathers some of Wall Street's finest tennis players to compete in a day long round robin tournament at the Field Club of Greenwich. In the early evening, the semi-finals and championship matches will be played in a fun and relaxed atmosphere that allows for viewing and socializing. The guests will enjoy a festive cocktail party and will also have a chance to participate in a raffle with many great prizes. This year former professional tennis player Todd Martin, who reached a career-high singles ranking of No. 4 in the World, will be participating in the tournament.

For additional information, please contact Marjorie Pastel at or 917-459-2027.
